Your time is just as valuable as my time, I offer a service that is sought after and by paying a deposit this ensures you are committed to making the appointment as it is difficult to fill slots the day of or even a day prior. Most tattoo artists run on commissions only.
The answer is Yes. That being said in order to get your deposit back your request to reschedule or cancel must meet some basic criteria.
1: This should be done 72 Hours Prior to the appointment. This gives the artist time to fill that slot create some artwork and have a good appointment with minimal stress.
2: I am human, I do have family, Things may arise that are totally out of your control or serious enough to not make your tattoo appointment priority. Exceptions can be made but that will be determined by your communication and reasoning.
Examples of what will lose your money: slept in, spent your money for the tattoo on something else not emergency related, forgot to add to your scheduling system, Travelling abroad, self induced sickness (hangover) etc. You catch the drift.
We have a Point of sale system that accepts Debit and Visa, Mastercard, American express, Cash , E-transfer are all methods accepted.
Currently only offering tattoos, maybe in the future.
I do not send out designs, I never have nor will I ever. If your not happy with the design I have made for the tattoo we can work together to create something more suited for you, This being said it is part of my hourly rate. I have a degree in graphic design from Algonquin College and work quite fast using references to bring your idea to life as a stencil I rarely go out of the stencil but might freehand shading or lighting and make minor adjustments for the longevity of the tattoo (Script adjustments so it will be legible over time )
It all truly does depend on your own personal pain threshold, as lame and vague as that may sound… The placement and duration of the tattoo will determine the amount of pain felt. Some people crave the feeling of tattoos as your brain produces dopamine after a short duration of receiving a tattoo which can even create an enjoyable factor. In answer to this question Yes there is some pain involved with the tattoo and the healing process.
Here is a Chart to help determine the pain

18 is the legal age to sign and provide a legal form of photo identification ( Drivers License we also can accept health card but are not allowed to ask for it )
The youngest so far is 15. I have children myself and although I may giggle to myself when adults are paying me to put art on them knowing well ahead of time it may hurt I’m not sadistic. If your child/teenager has not experienced some sort of comparable pain or something much more painful then I am not against tattooing them. I do not want to feel like I am torturing a child this is far from what I started doing art for. There are some kids that have turned towards cutting or self inflicted harm If they do this already I feel like this might a better option as I tattoo many people trying to cover these scars later in life. Things change as we grow so when it comes to design size and placement I do make sure many many times over that this is something they can see on themselves forever.
If you have decided to get a tattoo and your parents give consent they will need to be present upon signing for you providing their government issued Photo ID ( Passport, Drivers License, Health Card)
If your coming for a small tattoo usually not too much prep is needed. If your coming for a tattoo where the duration will be longer than 1-2 Hours it might be best to follow some guidelines.
1: Be well rested
2:Reduce your caffeine intake as being jittery is not a good canvas to work on.
3: Make sure you eat a good meal and digest at least 1 hour before the tattoo. Bring Snacks and fluids to stay hydrated.
4: Clean clothing, We work in a very clean environment, If you have a animal and have a bunch of animal hair on your clothes you are endangering your own healing/ health.
5: Going to the bathroom prior is helpful to your own bladder and the artist as they should protect your open wounds prior to you leaving the chair.
Our studio is not super big but I can accommodate around 4-6 people at a time, I prefer 1 person additional per person getting tattooed. If its only 1 person getting tattooed and 4 emotional support people its unnecessary, your getting ink inputted into your skin with needles that lasts forever. There is lights and music and a fun vibe but its not a club .
If its your first tattoo and your Parents have come to sign with you once they sign its totally up to them or yourself if you want them to stay its not mandatory, Personally I prefer if parents stay there is pain involved nor do I know how your child may react to the pain.
Spouses can be great supports that really depends on your relationship just remember whoever your bringing to your session just make sure the vibe is what you want, Tattoos can be very therapeutic.
Personally I do not have tattoos on my face that would entail that I cannot rob banks anymore and this would be a big problem as I’m highly addicted to robbing banks ( All Jokes Aside) I don’t recommend face tattoos it really depends on what you do for a living or how you can handle scrutinizing or judgements, am I against face tattoos? No. Will I do them? That honestly depends on how many tattoos you have. Its a touchy subject in which I will reflect on once I have all the information I need due to the fact that you will probably remember me for this for the rest of your life and that will weight on my soul. I hope this answers the Face tattoo portion for you.
In regards to hand and feet tattoos it also depends on size and if you have multiple tattoos a big visible hand tattoo with nothing else seems odd but motivation to continue as a sleeve . I do not guarantee the tattoos if they require touch ups it would be booking another tattoo and paying for that. Why you may ask? They tend to fade with all the motions we do its just a part of life. Will I do them ? Yes, but I will ask many many times prior to actually putting needle to skin. I actually have no problem touching them up for free if I already have the set up done for another tattoo and its not going to take a massive amount of time technically all my clients are walking bill boards so I would prefer that my work looks great.
Be prepared hand tattoos and feet tattoos are on the higher end of the pain scale.
I’ve had some pretty bad reactions to numbing cream with 2 clients, and really not a change in the pain scale, Also it can make the skin more firm which results in adapting to inputting the ink within your skin.
I do not offer numbing cream for this very reason, am I totally against it? No.
If you want to use it your more than welcome to on your own dime and own time follow the instructions provided and please notify me that you have used it with also bringing the instructions of said numbing cream with you so I can examine. FearLess Tattoos INC will be be held liable for any creations to said product our clients use prior to appointment.
I get asked this question by every new client I have, In all honesty I usually respond with ” I just started 3 weeks ago” just to see their reaction but I quickly comfort them that I have been tattooing for almost 3 years. I learn quite fast and have almost an obsession with learning new skills and being able to apply them to whatever I do. Would I be considered a Master? No, I believe that title comes with 10 years of tattooing but in all truths some people that do things for that long do not even have the passion for it anymore. I try to have passion in whatever I do and focus only on those and outsource the rest. I’ve managed a tattoo team and look forward to building my own team in the future.
I am Currently building an aftercare Section to the website and I will have a QR Code scannable with a downloadable PDF that covers everything you need to know about after. I will make changes to this FAQ question and link the two once its complete.
Any tattoos done that are not on hands or feet are guaranteed up to 90 days for free touch ups. Obviously life has its moments where sometimes this does not always work out or if you live far its not do able. I prefer for my work to look good so there is always something that can be worked out.
